I've a 30gig Raptor that I'm going to put it on and just change the boot seq in the BIOS so I can run Win7 and XP on the same machine.

That's a good idea. I was thinking of just doing a rebuild on my current setup, but I do have my old HDD sitting vacant. I need to rebuild the ubuntu setup on it anyway... Well, its a weekend project anyway (but the weather is set to be rainy here this weekend, as opposed to record highs last weekend, so I might actually get some things done).

Installed it last night on my son's PC. WIth the exception of the sound card it installed all the drivers itself, even the onboard LAN which had always proved a problem. Sound card is a bit old so might be a problem.

He is made up with it, and considering it's only 3gig P4 with 1gig of RAM it's running pretty quickly.
